About

K. V. CASE

Author, former homeschooler and compulsive collector of Kindle bargains, dedicated to life, Jesus and the pursuit of happily-ever-after.

The last of a lively brood of eleven growing up in Jamaica’s pre-cable era, with a part-time evangelist and full-time practical joker for a father, K.V. Case had plenty of fuel for her already active imagination.

“We invented games, hosted our own Olympics, explored flooded gullies, solved mysteries, held court, plotted mischief, kept weird pets and raided the neighbor’s mango tree.”

In between wacky adventures with her siblings, she spent countless hours lost inside a storybook or scribbling furiously in a notebook and succumbed early to the writing bug as a result of her addiction to happy-ever-after.

“I wrote stories. I read stories. I wrote more stories. I wrestled sentences in my sleep.”

College in New York brought KV her first blast of reality, but after a valiant attempt at pursuing a “sensible” profession, she accepted her life’s calling and opted for a writing degree. She went on to freelance in South Florida, where she took a crash course in real life and pursued adventures in homeschooling before debuting on Amazon with The Far Corner of the Greenhouse

She is mom to two young adults who keep her grounded in reality and one perpetually young special-needs munchkin who teaches her every day the true meaning of life more abundant. Today she lives in South Carolina’s low country, where she is currently in the thick of an indie-publishing adventure and lost inside a fictitious town called Destiny.
