: a love story especially in the form of a novel ~ Merriam-Webster
In other words, a story about “the greatest of these.” So then, for those of us who fall into stoic silence when we hear the word romance uttered in the same breath as those memorable words of Paul: Who better qualified to write such a love story than one who has been loved unconditionally, forgiven over and over again, pursued, wooed, rescued from a fate far worse than Cinderella’s and an arch villain darker than any fairy tale’s, promised forever and the keys to a kingdom, then showered with “every good and perfect gift,” as a token down payment on what’s to follow at the wedding to end all weddings?
I succumbed to the writing bug at an early age, following an addiction to happy-ever-after while growing up in Jamaica. After a writing degree in New York, I took a crash course in real life while freelancing in South Florida, before debuting on Amazon with The Far Corner of the Greenhouse. This Side of Destiny, Book 1 of the Destiny series, is due to be released shortly.
Today I’m mom to two newly adult children who keep me grounded in reality and one perpetually young special-needs munchkin who teaches me every day the true meaning of life more abundant. These days I mostly pursue mom adventures in South Carolina’s low country and get lost inside a town called Destiny.
